Forrest County students enjoy field trips as part of Sankofa Summer Enrichment Program

Over the summer break, participants of Palmers Crossings’ Sankofa Summer Enrichment Program had the opportunity to learn African American history and enjoy fun and games at the Danny Levi Hinton Community Center, Hattiesburg, MS. The program funded by District 4 Supervisor Rod Woullard is designed to support students’ cultural understanding through field trips and project-based learning.
